U.S. group ExxonMobil Chemical has developed two new thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grades, is said to be bonding in polyamide (PA) into the cover material for cold-forming applications. In fact, these Santoprene ™ TPV B500 series of new grades of polyamide products excellent adhesion properties and heat resistance for applications such as kitchen utensils and tableware, sporting goods and automotive parts applications. In addition, they showed a high chemical resistance and long-term sealing performance. Their hardness is Shore A 60, respectively, and Shao A 75.
