DES MOINES, Iowa, U.S. News (May 19, 2009) claimed that DuPont's Teflon brand fluoropolymer health risk of lawsuit has been Des Moines, Iowa, United States District Court dismissed.

     Senior Judge Ronald Longstaff on May 1, dismissed the claim. Dismissed the claim on behalf of 15 states by the 22 cases of the Miami attorney Steve Silverman and representatives based in Wilmington, Delaware, USA DuPont attorney Adam Hoeflich of Chicago's.

     Longstaff was in December last year rejected the plaintiff's class action request. Then Longstaff said the class action is "not processing", because once accepted will involve 23 states across the U.S. sell cookware. The plaintiff in the prosecution said, DuPont Teflon coating on cookware with the false security of information.

     DuPont senior vice president and general counsel Thomas Sager in the May 13 press release said: "The court's decision proved a good non-stick coated with DuPont Teflon coated cookware is safe in the intended use. "
